Some Observations

Well, it's been a while since my last post...we have been very busy working or spending time with family and friends on our days off. Currently we are having a great time with a house full of 5th grade girls. Now that we've had a chance to spend time with both 5th grade girls and 8th grade girls, here are the top 10 observations that I've found between the two:

1) 5th grade girls love to color...8th grade girls would be like totally embarrassed to be seen with crayons

2) 5th grade girls beg to go outside...8th grade girls beg to go inside

3) 5th grade girls think we are the coolest people in the world...8th grade girls think we're geeks

4) 5th grade girls love to play with their Ken dolls...8th grade girls love to debate whether or not Ken is "hot"

5) 5th grade girls if told to wake up at 7:00 will beg to get up at 6:00...8th grade girls if told to get up at 7:00 would beg to get up at noon.

6) 5th grade girls love to talk to us forever and go on and on and on...8th grade girls avoid talking to us at all cost.

7) 5th grade girls fight with each other about who gets to sit next to us and as close as possible...8th grade girls fight with each other about who gets to sit as far away from us as possible.

8) 5th grade girls laugh at our jokes like we are professional comedians...8th grade girls find our jokes completely lame.

9) 5th grade girls are always wanting hugs from us...8th grade girls wouldn't accept one if they needed the Heimlich maneuver.

10) 5th grade girls eat more than a horse...8th grade girls, well, they do too.

THAT ABOUT SUMS IT UP!!!

haha - I love the comparison! And SOOOO true!

Hopefully you get the 5th graders that absolutely adore you! :) Either way I know you both will do an excellent job with each of them! :)
