What number comes next in the following sequence:
3, 3, 5, 4, 4, 3, 5, 5, 4, ?

I am going with "3" because it started with 2-3s, 1-5, 2-4s, then 1-3, 2-5s, 1-4 so it should start repeating again.

I'm going with "6" - I can't follow the pattern on every 3rd number but it appears that the repeating numbers are increasing by one number each time - so, 3, 3, -, 4, 4, -, 5, 5, - and that would make the next number a 6 then 6 again...then a 2????
Oh, never mind...I googled it and I'm wrong...I'm going with "3" now but you guys are WAY off on the explanation - hehe - so I'll keep it secret in case anyone else wants to guess. I'm just not as smart as you Mike!

I moved the other comments off the screen and did not look at them.
The number that comes next in the given sequence is 6.
It is a sequence that alternates with another sequence.
The first sequence is made up of a pair of equal whole numeric terms that begins with 3 and increases by (+)1 each pair. 3,3,4,4,5,5,6...
The second sequence is made up of whole numberic terms.
The 6 is the next term in the first sequence.
Come on Jen! What is wrong with your first answer? Is it wrong?

There can be more than one right answer, as long as the logic behind it is valid.
